Keeping your child's helmet clean and less smelly...
- remember it's probably going to get a little smelly and thats ok!
- wash daily: wash once with the same soap you use on your child, wash again with scented baby soap (test on baby first)
- put small amount of baby powder or corn starch on your child's head to absorb sweat
- when traveling bring hand sanitizer or alcohol wipes to make cleaning easier
- if baby food gets on the helmet wipe immediately so no staining occurs
Dealing with the outside world...
- remember it's not going to be easy, people are going to stare, if it doesn't bother you, than good for you, but I still have a hard time with it.
